We'll be taking January 1 -3 off for the New Year holiday. Regular practice will resume on Monday the 4th.
Sanshin will be closed for the Christmas holiday.
Following the usual dharma talk next Sunday (13th), we'll chant the Heart Sutra and dedicate the merit to harmony and wellbeing in the world. You can find the sutra in the chant book available for download toward the bottom of this page. Please chant along with your mic muted during the ceremony.
On the next evening (14th) we'll hold the monthly ryaku fusatsu, our ceremony of renewing our aspiration to follow the precepts. We'll start at 7:30 pm and should be finished by 8:30. The chants are in the chant book and you can also just listen and repeat. Everyone is welcome, whether or not you've formally taken precepts. |
